Consumer Advocate shares message with Las Vegas customers during National Postal Customer Council day
Vice President and Consumer Advocate Delores Killette was the keynote speaker in Las Vegas, NV during National Postal Customer Council (PCC) day Sept. 19, 2007. She joined the Southern Nevada PCC and customers to hear the message from PMG John Potter. Potter emphasized the Postal Service will continue to work with the PCCs and customers on building strong positive relationships. Killette agreed with the PMG saying, “Together we have ambitious plans and high goals for the future.” She continued, “We know many changes and challenges lie ahead. However, we can take strength and reassurance that together we can handle whatever comes and together we can deliver a more successful future for all of us.” During the event, VP Delores Killette (r) presented the PCC Communications Award Bronze level to PCC Industry Co-Chair John Szozda and Postal Co-Chair Mark Martinez, Las Vegas postmaster, on behalf of the Southern Nevada PCC. Across the nation more than 14,000 of America’s top mail professionals participated in the event.
